Sheriffs election to take place on 8 July

At Common Hall today a poll was demanded for the 2009 Sheriffs election. Three candidates (see below) are standing and all members of the Livery on the Common Hall Register 2009 are entitled to vote at this election.

The election will take place on Wednesday 8 July 2009 at Guildhall, London, EC2 between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

NB there are no provisions for postal or proxy voting at this election.

Candidates for the two Sheriffs 2009 are:

  • Peter J Cook
  • Timothy Patrick Camroux Oliver
  • Alderman David Wootton
