London Government Dinner
7.00pm on Thursday 10 January 2008 at Mansion House, Walbrook,
London, EC4
The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman David Lewis, will
host the annual London Government Dinner at Mansion House on
Thursday 10 January 2008.
The speakers at the Dinner will be:
- The Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of the City of London – Alderman
David Lewis
- The Mayor of London – Mr Ken Livingstone
The following opportunities will be available:
- Group Photograph in Drawing Room (stills
only) - 7.20pm
- Procession through Salon into
Dinner - 7.30pm
- Speeches after Dinner in Egyptian Hall - 9.15pm
(approximately).
To apply:
- Please submit requests on the application form below by
12.00 noon Wednesday 9 January. Requests will be confirmed by fax
or email by 5.00pm Wednesday 9 January.
- Security passes for accredited media will be given to the media
when they arrive at Mansion House and do not need to be collected
in advance.

At the dinner:
- Photographers and reporters attending the event are asked to
arrive at Mansion House between 6.30pm and 7.00pm and should enter
via the Security Lodge (facing Bank Junction), where they will be
given their security passes.
- Please ensure that all members of the media are suitably
dressed in dark lounge suits or the equivalent for
ladies.
- Please also ensure that all mobile telephones and pagers are
switched off throughout the event (both inside and
outside).
