City girls are exam all-stars

Sixth Form students from independent girls school City of London School for Girls are delighted to have learned that they have earned a combined result of 99.6% A-B grades and a 100% pass rate for this year’s A-Level examinations.

The School, located in the heart of the City of London, accredited the truly exceptional success to students’ unwavering commitment, a team of dedicated teaching staff and a belief that education means much more than exam results, and encouraged girls to relax and contribute to other areas of school life throughout the year.

Miss Diana Vernon, Headmistress at City of London School for Girls, stated, “I am delighted that our students’ dedication and perseverance has resulted in their achieving superb results in their A-Level examinations. These results are evidence of the energy and determination girls put into their studies and also the professionalism and dedication of their teachers. I am so proud of their richly deserved success.”

Miss Vernon added, “We are all very proud of the girls’ academic achievements, however, education is about much more than examination grades and importantly the girls have all achieved in many other areas of their lives.”

Their achievements put them in good stead to fulfil their university dreams and many of them plan to take a gap year to travel, work and study.
