Lord Mayor’s Dinner to the Bankers and Merchants of the City of
London

The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman John Stuttard,
will host the annual dinner to the Bankers and Merchants on
Wednesday 20 June at Mansion House.
The speakers at the dinner will be:
- The Lord Mayor of the City of London – Alderman John
Stuttard
- The Chancellor of the Exchequer – Gordon Brown MP
- The Governor of the Bank of England – Mervyn King
The following opportunities will be available:
- Group Photograph in Drawing Room (stills
only) - 7.30pm
- Procession through Salon into
Dinner - 7.35pm
- Speeches after Dinner in Egyptian Hall - from
9.15pm
To apply:
- Please submit requests on the application form (below) by
12noon Monday 18 June. Requests will be confirmed by fax or email
by 5.00pm, Monday 18 June.
- Security passes for accredited media will be given to them when
they arrive at Mansion House and do not need to be collected in
advance.

At the dinner:
- Photographers and reporters attending the event are asked to
arrive at Mansion House between 6.30pm and 7.00pm and should enter
via the Security Lodge (facing Bank Junction), where they will be
given their security passes.
- Please ensure that all members of the media are suitably
dressed in dark lounge suits or the equivalent for
ladies.
- Please also ensure that all mobile telephones and pagers are
switched off throughout the event.
