Guildhall dinner to mark the 25th Anniversary of the end of the
Falkland Islands conflict

On Friday 15 June, in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses The
Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the City of London Corporation will
host a dinner to mark the 25th anniversary of the end of the
Falkland Islands conflict.
Speeches will be made by the Lord Mayor of the City of London,
Alderman John Stuttard, and the Chief of the Defence Staff, Sir
Jock Stirrup.
Following the dinner the Band of Her Majesties Royal Marines,
Portsmouth, will perform a Beating Retreat in the Guildhall
Yard.

At the banquet
- Photographers and reporters attending the event are asked to
arrive between 6.15pm to 6.45pm.
- Members of the media should report to the Main Reception at
Guildhall (corner of Gresham Street and Aldermanbury, EC2), where
they will be given their security passes.
- Please ensure that all members of the media are suitably
dressed in dark lounge suits or the equivalent for
ladies. Please also ensure that ALL MOBILE TELEPHONES AND
PAGERS are switched off throughout the event (both inside and
outside).
