City’s businesswomen mark International Women’s Day
Women’s contribution to the success of the Square Mile will be
top of the menu at a breakfast in the City to mark International
Women’s Day on 8 March.
International Women’s Day is an annual event marked around the
world which celebrates the significant role that women have played,
and continue to play, in shaping history.
This week’s event will be the first of its kind for the City of
London and will bring together an exceptional coalition of women to
celebrate and recognise the contribution of women in the
work-force.
As well as providing a unique networking opportunity, the
champagne breakfast at JP Morgan’s London Head Quarters will
benefit two charities: the national domestic violence charity
Refuge and FANY, the Princess Royal’s Volunteer Corps.
The event is chaired by Mei Sim Lai, Managing Director of
LaiPeters Limited. The speakers are:
