Blue Tit bird-cam: Epping Forest Visitor Centre
The Epping Forest Visitor Centre in Loughton is currently
screening its own feathery reality TV show. Screens in the
visitor centre are linked to a camera in nearby nest-box, where you
eleven Blue Tit chicks hatched early last week.
The bird-cam gives visitors a unique glimpse into life in the
nest; people can watch the new chicks grow over the next couple of
months before they reach adult size and fly the nest.
The summer opening hours at the Visitors Centre are Tuesday -
Saturday 10.00am - 5.00pm, and Sundays and Bank Holidays 11.00am –
5.00pm.
The Epping Forest Visitor Centre is located on Nursery Road,
High Beach, Loughton, IG10 4AF.
