Usage

The City of London regards this online facility as a significant way of improving its service to the business community and public alike.

To that end, a technical infrastructure has been put in place at a dedicated data centre which aims to make this website available at all times throughout the year. The website contains a mix of content ranging from general service information to searchable databases and online applications. There will inevitably be occasions when the complete site is not available and on these occasions you will come across a warning page that a particular service is temporarily unavailable.

One of the aims of the website is to improve the availability and take up of services. The web servers log information about visitor’s computers, their operating systems and browser versions for example as well as their path through the site. This information is important as it helps to inform discussion about site improvement.

In this section you will find information about how the  usage of the site is growing.
