The City of London's Sports Development team is committed to
providing sporting opportunities at all levels for the resident and
working populations of the City. We aim to remove barriers to
participation and to promote personal, social and community
development.
We take a proactive approach to increasing the provision within
the City area and encouraging sport for all, regardless of age of
sex, or disability. Much of this is done through our public
facility at Golden Lane Leisure Centre.
Download the free comprehensive guide to sporting activities in
the City area. The City of London promotes sport for all, whatever
your age or ability, whether trying a new activity, playing for fun
or striving for excellence. The Sports Directory includes details
about facilities, clubs, programmes, sessions and courses. We aim
to give all the information you need to take advantage of the many
opportunities for participating in sport in the Square Mile. A few
facilities are listed from outside the immediate City area. These
are included because there may not be provision within the City of
London area and / or they are extensively used by individuals /
teams within the City.
