Online library catalogue

The catalogue lists most of the items held in the City of London's libraries. It shows where items can be found and whether they are available for loan. A link to the Former catalogue is also provided here.

Before making a special journey, please contact the library concerned to confirm that what you want is available.

If you are a library member you can check:

  • What you have on loan, renew items and place reservations
  • Whether you have any items awaiting collection
  • Whether any charges are recorded as awaiting payment

You can also renew borrowed items either online via My Account or via our telephone renewals service(touch tone phones only) on 020 7638 0568.

If you would like more control over the information you receive about loans and overdues, you might like to try out a free independently run service called Library Elf.
