The land on which Avondale Square Estate is situated has been
owned by the City of London since 1251. Redevelopment of the Square
commenced in 1920 and continued after the war. The estate
is comprised of over 600 flats and maisonettes, three
play areas and a community centre.
Harman Close sheltered housing is also on Avondale Square
Estate.

Information about residents parking
Estate office and staff
The estate office is located at Avondale House and is open
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am to 5pm and Wednesday
8am to 1pm.. Emergency cover is provided outside office
hours.

Estate surgeries, inspections and walkabouts
Laurence Jones, Resident Services Manager, holds estate
surgeries on the fourth Thursday of each month from 9am to 1pm and
2pm to 5pm. If you need to make an appointment outside of these
times, please contact the Estate Office where staff will be pleased
to assist you.
Stewart Crook, Area Manager, holds estate surgeries on the third
Wednesday of each month at 10.30am
Inspections and estate walkabouts are held on the second
thursday of every month at 11am. Meet at the estate office. All
resident are welcome
