Valerie Shawcross, CBE, receiving an award on behalf of the London Fire Brigade from the then Lady Mayoress, Lady Stuttard, and Zac Goldsmith

“Despite the immensity of the environmental challenge, the truth is, almost everything  that needs doing is already being done, somewhere. If ‘best practice’ today became the norm tomorrow, we’d be half way there already. The Sustainable City Awards proves not only that solutions exist, but that where they are adopted, companies invariably flourish as a result.” Zac Goldsmith.

RSA accredited The Sustainable City Awards are one of ten UK feeder schemes to the European Business Awards. All business winners will be considered for entry into the Europe- wide scheme which takes place every two years.
