Textiles, clothes and shoe reuse and recycling

Salvation Army recycling bank

Wear it, then share it!

If you need to make space in your wardrobe to keep up-to-date with the latest fashions or are simply having a clear-out, there is no need to throw your old clothes and shoes away. Instead of putting them in the bin, why not make better use of them, as well as helping to raise funds for charity, by donating them to the Salvation Army.

There are now five Salvation Army Textiles, Clothes and Shoes reuse and recycling banks in the City, on the following estates:

Mansell Street Estate
In front of entrance 1 to Guinness Court.

Barbican Estate
In Bunyan Court car park, behind the YMCA off Fann Street.
Willoughby House, at the top of Willoughby Ramp.

Middlesex Street Estate
Next to the recycling bins in the underground car park.

Golden Lane Estate
Next to the recycling bins in the underground car park under Cullum Welch House.

Items accepted include shirts, trousers, skirts, jumpers, coats, jackets, shoes tied in pairs, accessories and household linen.
