Clear sack recycling service
All City residents are provided with a Clear sack recycling
service for the collection of paper, cardboard, glass bottles and
jars, tins and cans, and plastic bottles.

Food waste collection service
Residents on the City estates
can now send food waste for composting by using the food waste
collection service. The service is currently being introduced to
privately managed blocks of flats that have bin stores in the

Real nappy scheme
The City of London offers City parents up to £50 cash-back
towards the cost of purchasing real nappies or using a nappy
laundry service. For more details please see the

Textiles, Clothes and shoe reuse and recycling
Residents on the City's estates can send unwanted textiles,
clothes and shoes for reuse and recycling by using the Salvation
Army collection banks located on their estates. To find out more

Electrical and electronic appliance recycling
All electrical and electronic appliances collected through the
City's Bulky waste collection service are sent for recycling. There
are also collection bins for the recycling of small appliances,
such as toasters and kettles, on the estates. To find out more,
