Background levels of radiation are monitored at various locations
in the City by Pollution Team officers. Additionally, a radiation
monitor continuously registers background levels at Walbrook Wharf.
The data from the Walbrook Wharf monitor can be seen on the
internet at
www.weatherprobe.com.
Officers are immediately alerted by the equipment if there are any
significant changes in the background data.
