Conservation Area Character Summaries
These booklets identify and illustrate the characteristics of,
and particular planning considerations within, each conservation
area. In conjunction with the "Conservation Areas in the City of
London: A General Introduction to their Character", they provide an
indication of the factors of importance to the preservation or
enhancement of the character and appearance of each conservation
area.
Please note that character summaries have not been prepared for
all conservation areas, and some relate to renamed areas or those
whose boundaries have since been altered. They will eventually be
replaced by SPDs.
