Character summaries and management strategies
are being prepared for all the City's
Conservation Areas. They will analyse the special
architectural and historical interest of each area and explain how
the
Core Strategy's polices will be applied in it.
They will be adopted as
Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) and as part of the
Local Development Framework (LDF).

Character summaries and management strategies are being prepared
for the following conservation areas: Trinity Square, Foster
Lane, Eastcheap, Fenchurch Street Station, and St Paul's Cathedral
and will be available for comment on this page during 2012.
Character Summary and Management Strategy SPDs will be prepared
for all remaining Conservation Areas in future years. These
will replace the
current guidance for the areas.
