The Brokerage Citylink is a City-based charity which provides a
‘pathway to the City’ through a wide range of programmes designed
to raise the awareness of residents of inner city boroughs to the
career opportunities that are available within the City of London
and Docklands. The Brokerage focuses on employment within the
financial and related business services sectors and provides
services to schools and job seekers across the boroughs of Lambeth,
Southwark, Islington, Westminster, Camden, Newham, Haringey,
Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham, Greenwich and Haringey. The
Brokerage offers a unique service providing personal and focused
job-finding support from offices in the heart of the Square
Mile.
In addition to managing the City of London ’s Business
Traineeship Programme and City 4 A Day, the Brokerage has
a number of schemes raising aspiration and awareness of young
people. Working in the City and City Insight both
provide students with the opportunity to experience the working
environment of the City and understand the expectations of City
employers. Individuals seeking entry-level opportunities and
companies recruiting support staff both benefit from participating
