The City completed its first Local Area Agreement in March 2010.
As a result of meeting ten of the targets, the City has received a
Performance Reward Grant totalling £1,028,922.50. Part of this
reward has been allocated to the successful partners to be spent on
further activities in support of the Sustainable Community Strategy
goals, and part has been allocated to The City Together Board to be
allocated by a bidding process.
The City's Local Area Agreement for 2008-2011, was discontinued
in 2010, as a result of the decision of the Coalition Government to
abolish all Local Area Agreement targets
