Childcare - out of school hours

After school clubs

An after school club is a place where children come to develop their social, physical, creative and intellectual skills. The trained staff follow the ‘Playcare’ curriculum, which involves arts and crafts, drama, sports and excursions. The emphasis is always on fun! Attendance at the after school clubs allows children to grow in confidence, and meets both learning and emotional needs in a safe environment.

We regard children as individuals with respect to their gender, cultural, racial and religious backgrounds. At the City of London Playservice we aim to provide a safe stimulating and happy child-orientated environment, whilst encouraging creativity within a social environment.

Whilst the children are at the playcentre, they are given light refreshments and are settled to participate in a wide and varied child centred programme of activities.
