The City of London Police Department

The City of London Police is responsible for the safety of everyone in London's "Square Mile". The Force is organised into six command areas; Anti-Terrorism and Public Order, Economic Crime, Specialist Crime, Corporate Support and two territorial divisions, based at Snow Hill and Bishopsgate. The latter are responsible for the day-to-day policing of the City while the other command areas include fraud investigators, scientific support officers, a dog section, mounted branch, a firearms unit and professional and administrative support staff.

The Force has outsourced its catering, cleaning and occupational health services and adheres to the City of London's contracts and purchasing directives for items such as furniture, photocopiers, stationery and consumables.

The Force will shortly be appointing a Procurement and Contracts Manager who will be the focal point for contact on all purchasing and procurement issues. Contact details will be updated once this has been accomplished.
