City Property Advisory Team

City of London skyline image  The City Property Advisory Team (CPAT) is based in the City Surveyor's Department at the City of London Corporation, and also works in conjunction with the Department of the Built Environment. Our role is to help businesses find and retain premises in the City and City Fringe that most suit their needs. We also assist property investors and developers deliver their schemes to the market.

We can:

  • Provide the widest range of details on available property
  • Help with planning, highways, and legislative issues
  • Unlock bureaucracy
  • Identify long term development potential
  • Help with site assemblies
  • Assist on infrastructure matters e.g. electricity and telecoms
  • Offer complimentary and confidential guidance as and when needed by clients and their advisors

We can also facilitate collaboration between the property industry and other City Corporation services such as property ownership, planning, and highways. Commissioned research informs our understanding of the complex issues affecting the UK property industry. We share this valuable knowledge through reports, discussion forums, and other events.
